It takes strength to reach out for help!
I admire the strength it takes to make that decision to seek help. We all face difficult things in life that sometimes requires the help of someone else to get us through it. I truly believe in the healing power that can occur by having an unbiased, nonjudgmental person who is willing to sit and listen to your needs. Your feelings are important and, no matter if the issue is depression, anxiety, a life transition, a relationship problem or just the stress of everyday life, I want to be that person who can help you explore your feelings and realize that nothing is hopeless.
I am a licensed clinical professional counselor whose private practice is located in Junction City in Peoria, Illinois. I utilize a variety of techniques that incorporate a strength based approach, because I believe in helping each person understand that they have the power to overcome any issue.
